L-Theanine is a naturally occurring, unique amino acid found in green tea leaves. However, the efficacy of how this patented form is extracted from fermenting the green tea leaves, makes it more clinically beneficial than generic l-theanine made in the lab. L-theanine has been found to reduce stress by promoting relaxation without drowsiness, easing nervousness due to overwork and fatigue, and reducing nervous irritability. Human studies suggest that it may also be useful in supporting concentration and in reducing negative side effects from caffeine.

Suggested Use
1 to 2 capsules twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Each capsule provides 200 mg, delivering the clinical amounts in the studies and we provide the patented form which is provided in this product versus the other brands which provide 100 mg of the generic form of l-theanine.
