StressCalm Px is indicated for alleviating occasional symptoms of stress by promoting optimal nervous system function. The herbs in this well-crafted formula also maintain stress tolerance via their support for adrenal and CNS functions. The cornerstone of this formula, Ashwagandha, is an adaptogenic herb which has been shown to support adrenal function and protect against occasional stress. African Snake root enhances parasympathetic activity. California Poppy, Lavender, Catnip, and Lemon balm are added for their additional calming supportive actions.
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) withanolides are credited with the ability to reduce mild stress and occasional anxiety.
California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica) is used for parasympathetic support.
Catnip (Nepeta cataria) contains terpene nepetalactone and iridoid glycosides, both credited with calming effects on the nervous system.
Lavender (Lavendula officinalis) essential oils are credited with mood balancing effects due to activity on serotonin receptors.
African Snake Root (Rauwolfia vomitoria) contains alkaloids which act via the central nervous system by reducing sympathetic tone and increasing parasympathetic activity

Suggested Use
