Proprietary Bloom Terpene Blend: Linalool, Terpinolene, Myrcene, A-Pinene, B-Caryophyllene
About our Ingredients:
Organic Sprouted Hemp Seed Oil: We use USDA Certified Organic Sprouted Hemp Seed Oil for all of our Bloom Essential’s tinctures due to its increase in bioavailability of omegas and vitamins. To get a sprouted seed, the seed must first go through a process called germination. This germinating process breaks down some of the starch, which makes the percentage of nutrients higher. It also breaks down phytate, a form of phytic acid that normally decreases absorption of vitamins and minerals in the body. So sprouted grains have more available nutrients than mature grains. Those nutrients include folate, iron, vitamin C, zinc, magnesium, and protein. In addition, hemp seed oil is naturally rich in essential omega fatty acids, making it the ideal carrier oil for any hemp oil tincture.
Coriander Extract: Coriander is a commonly used spice and is a staple in most ayurvedic remedies. Active compounds in coriander, including geranyl acetate, a naturally occurring terpene, help stimulate enzymes in the stomach, which soothes the gastrointestinal tract and aids digestion. This stimulation of enzymes alleviates bloating and other discomforts in the stomach. Coriander’s traditional use as a digestive aid has carried over to modern medicine and is often used as part of natural treatments for IBS. Coriander also promotes healthy liver function, bowel movements, and supports optimal cholesterol balance.
Fennel Extract: Fennel is another common spice used in cooking. It also tastes just like licorice. The connection between fennel and gut health is undeniable. Fennel has been utilized as a digestive aid and anti-inflammatory for centuries. This fiber-rich plant actively reduces inflammation in your gut and relaxes muscles in the stomach, which helps relieve bloating and discomfort. These digestive benefits are often attributed to a few of the anti-inflammatory compounds found in fennel seeds, including fenchone and anethole. The reduction of inflammation in the gut is critical to maintaining digestive health.
Brown Cumin Extract: One of our all time favorite ingredients is Cumin. This ingredient is commonly used in foods for a good reason. Widely considered one of the most gut-friendly herbs, cumin reduces inflammation and provides the foundation for healthy digestion. Cumin promotes healthier digestion by increasing the activity of stomach enzymes, which accelerates the digestive process. Cumin also increases the release of bile from the liver, which helps your body process fats and other nutrients. However, the benefits don’t end there, cumin is a potent anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory, and studies show that it helps reduce many of the symptoms of IBS.
